General Info

SUSTASON PSU (Polysulfone) is a semi-transparent amorphous thermoplastic with an amber tint. It is often chosen in more demanding applications to replace polycarbonate when improved chemical or higher temperature resistance is required by the application. SUSTASON PSU can be used continuously in hot water and steam sterilization and has excellent chemical resistance to acidic salt solutions.

Note: Not all Udel® shapes are certified to USP Class VI. If your application requires certification to USP Class-VI, it must be specified at the time of quotation and before order placement.  Some Udel®grades are also offered in ISO 10993 compliant material, which must also be specified at the time of quotation and before order placement.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
