XtremeEPP™ 191 is a black, unreinforced, FDA compliant thermoplastic characterized as having excellent dimensional stability coupled with excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to both moderately acidic solutions and chlorine bleach cleaning solutions. XtremeEPP™ 191 can be used continuously to 210°F (98°C), and its low moisture absorption provides very good dimensional stability for improved machineability and enables mechanical and electrical properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture.

Limitations
- Low Resistance to Continuous Hot Water or Steam
- Low Resistance to Strong Alkalies
- Not recommended for continuous use in alkaline liquid or in hot water over (131 F / 55 C)
