General Info
Techtron® PPS offers the broadest resistance to chemicals of any advanced engineering plastic. They have no known solvents below 392°F (200°C) and are inert to steam, strong bases, fuels and acids. Minimal moisture absorption and a very low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, combined with stress-relieving manufacturing, make PPS ideally suited for precise tolerance machined components. As an unfilled material, Techtron® is easily machined to close tolerances. It is ideal for structural applications in corrosive environments or as a lower-temperature replacement for PEEK. Standard Techtron® PPS is off-white in color.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
