General Info

ACETAL COPOLYMER (unfilled) grade offers excellent performance at a slightly lower cost than Delrin ® homopolymer. Some acetal copolymer may exhibit center line porosity, but porosity-free material is available. Certain grades are FDA, USDA, NSF, Canada AG and 3-A Dairy compliant. Low stress levels and high strength assure flatness and dimensional stability up to a maximum continuous service temperature of 180°F (80°C). Acetal copolymers are available in a wide variety of colors.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
