General Info

EtroX® V is an engineered polymer formulated for the extreme demands of the electronics and semiconductor industries.  EtroX® V is particularly suitable for machining high-precision test sockets with extremely small boreholes. Machined test sockets made from EtroX® V can be machined with a minimum diameter of 0.1 mm with clean round holes that have minimal to no burr formation.  EtroX® V offers a combination of dimensional stability, hardness, low internal stress, high-temperature performance (250 C / 482 F), and low moisture absorption, making it an ideal option for back-end test socket applications, including jigs, fixtures, and test sockets.
