General Info

G-10 CR Cryogenic Grade NP500CR is a composite sheet made from glass fabric and epoxy resin system that exhibits exceptional electrical characteristics and superior physical properties when used under cryogenic temperatures ranging between -270°C / -454°F to 135°C / 275°F. Initially designated as Westinghouse/International Paper Micarta Cryogenic Grade 56 G12, it has been formulated with specific chemistry that allows for low thermal conductivity and optimal performance in cryogenic applications.

The composition of G-10 CR includes a woven glass fabric and a halogen-free epoxy resin system that maintains its excellent physical and electrical properties even in high-humidity conditions. However, it is not flame retardant. This material is ideally designed to withstand absolute zero temperatures and is widely used in the LNG industry for pipe and storage applications and deep-space cryogenic applications. Available in Tube in G-10 CR RT521M Grade - contact us for more information.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
