General Info

Delrin® 500AF brown is very similar to Delrin® 100AF (both resins made by DuPont) in that this material performs exceedingly well in bearing or low friction applications that also require good strength and dimensional stability characteristics. Containing PTFE fibers, this modified acetal homopolymer material has a slightly more crystaline structure than Delrin® 100AF.

It is designed for applications requiring low wear and, or low friction against steel, itself or other plastics. It is perfect for plastic bushing or bearing applications requiring a low coefficient of friction.

DELRIN® 100 AF Blend is the most common and commercially available DELRIN® AF grade. DELRIN® 100 AF Blend offers an attractive blend of properties and lower cost compared to DELRIN® AF Full Strength and is the the most widely used of Delrin ® AF grades.
