TECAPEEK® GF30 is Ensinger's 30% glass fiber reinforced TECAPEEK® product. Made with Victrex 450 GL30 PEEK polymer, it offers enhanced mechanical and thermal properties over those of our basic TECAPEEK® offering. It also offers excellent resistance in harsh chemical environments and is electrically insulative.

- Excellent Hydrolysis Resistance - TECAPEEK® GF30 Has an Excellent Resistance to Hydrolysis in Boiling Water and Superheated Steam (Sterilization/Autoclavability) At Temperatures In Excess of 250°C (482°F)

- For Unreinforced TECAPEEK®, The HDT @264 Psi Is 152°C (306°F). The Addition Of 30% Reinforcement Results in A Dramatic Increase To 315°C (600°F).

- Ensinger extrudes Victrex® 450GL30 PEEK™ natural resin which complies with the compositional requirements of FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.2415 for repeat contact with food.
- Since the resin used to extrude this product complies with the FDA regulation it should be chemically acceptable to the USDA for repeat use applications in slaughtering, processing, transporting and storage areas in direct contact with meat or poultry products.
