General Info

TECAPEEK CM XP106 40% Glass-Filled PEEK is a high-performance, semi-crystalline thermoplastic engineered for applications requiring exceptional strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance at elevated temperatures. This compression-molded grade is reinforced with 40% glass fiber, providing significantly higher mechanical strength and rigidity than unfilled PEEK while maintaining PEEK’s broad chemical compatibility and excellent thermal performance.

With a tensile modulus of approximately 1.2 million psi, flexural strength of 18,000 psi, and a melting temperature of 649°F, TECAPEEK CM XP106 is well suited for demanding structural components exposed to high loads, aggressive chemicals, and elevated operating temperatures.

Common applications include structural parts, equipment components, valve and pump components, and other demanding parts used in the oil & gas, chemical processing, and refinery industries.
