General Info

BOETEK™ PEEK IM 450G Unfilled Natural Tube is an injection molded unfilled PolyEtherEther-Ketone high-performance engineering thermoplastic. It is FDA-compliant and has a continuous use temperature of 480°F (250°C). Offering high strength and stiffness and high ductility. It can be used in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties.

With excellent chemical resistance, it excels in hostile environments; BOETEK™ PEEK IM 450G is a high-strength alternative to fluoropolymers. It carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emissions when exposed to flame.

It is often used in aerospace, oil & gas, food processing, pump, valve, compressor, medical, chemical processing, and other industries. Typical applications include backup rings, seals, pump and valve components, and valve seats.
