ZL® 900 H is acetal homopolymer (POM-H) offers higher crystallinity than copolymer acetal and is harder, stronger, improved mechanical strength, stiffness, and creep resistance. Homopolymer acetal also has a lower thermal expansion rate than copolymer acetal. ZL natural acetal homopolymer is FDA compliant. Natural acetal homopolymer is available sheet and rod.

Limitations
- Wear Resistance in Dry Environments
- Lower Temperature Stability (to 180 F)
- Poor Resistance to Strong Acids and Alkalies
- Higher Formaldehyde Outgassing than Copolymer Acetal
- Centerline Porosity - low density (porosity) center, especially in larger cross sections.
