General Info
GEHR PP-H™ (Polypropylene Homopolymer) is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer widely recognized for its chemical resistance, high mechanical strength, and exceptional weldability. Manufactured through the polymerization of propylene monomers, PP-H offers a highly crystalline structure that contributes to its rigidity and stability compared to its copolymer counterparts.
Due to its outstanding resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, and chemical solvents, PP-H is extensively used in demanding industrial applications, particularly where corrosive environments are present. It also has low moisture absorption and excellent dielectric properties, making it a suitable material for components requiring electrical insulation and long-term dimensional stability.
In fabrication, PP-H is easily machined and weldable using techniques such as hot air and extrusion welding, enabling the creation of complex tank systems, ducting, flanges, and other custom components. Additionally, PP-H maintains good impact resistance and processability over a broad temperature range.
Available in various grades and colors, PP-H meets diverse regulatory and environmental standards depending on the specific formulation and intended use.
Note:
- FDA Compliance:- FDA Compliant for PP-H Black
- Not FDA Compliant for PP-H Gray

- Compliances and Testing:- All compliance certifications (including FDA) and flammability testing (such as UL 94) are applicable only to the natural (unpigmented) material. Pigmented versions (e.g., black or gray) may not share the same properties.

Manufacturer Trade Names
Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
