Sustakon® Blue is a FDA compliant polyketone (PK) polymer that has improved chemical resistance, wear resistance and a higher operating temperature (248 F) than acetal, nylons and polyesters.  In addition, it offers high impact strength, excellent abrasion resistance, low moisture absorption and good dimensional stability.

Sustakon® Blue is an excellent choice for replacing acetals, nylons and polyester based materials in applications that require a dimensionally stable, tougher more chemically resistant material in higher temperature applications. Sustakon® Blue is ideal in aggressive corrosive / caustic wash down applications.  Making it an excellent material choice for Clean in Place (CIP) & Clean Out of Place (COP) applications where acetals, nylons and polyesters are chemically attacked.
