General Info

BOETEK® PR-43 30% CARBON FIBER CM PEEK is a compression-molded PEEK reinforced with 30% carbon fiber for demanding applications requiring high strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, and performance at elevated temperatures. Compared to unfilled PEEK, the carbon fiber reinforcement provides significant improvements in tensile, flexural, and compressive properties while reducing thermal expansion. This combination makes BOETEK® PR-43 30% CARBON FIBER CM PEEK an excellent metal replacement material for high-performance structural and mechanical components.

BOETEK® PR-43 provides a continuous-use temperature up to 500°F, a heat deflection temperature of 575°F, a flexural strength of 31,000 psi, a flexural modulus of 1,300,000 psi, and a compressive strength of 24,800 psi. Its low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and low moisture absorption help maintain dimensional stability in high-temperature and precision applications.

Typical applications for BOETEK® PR-43 include pump and compressor casings, rotors, vanes, valve plates, valve seats, high-precision gears, high-compression packings, and other structural components. It is particularly well suited for demanding pump, valve, reciprocating compressor, turbo compressor, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, and other severe-service applications where high strength, temperature resistance, and dimensional stability are required.

BOETEK® PR-43 30% CARBON FIBER CM PEEK is available in compression-molded PEEK sheet, rod, and tube, as well as CNC-machined PEEK parts for custom components and production applications.
