General Info

BOETEK™ PEEK IM 5030 is an industry-standard, lubricated, reinforced bearing grade PEEK polyetheretherketone (PEEK) material. It is available in injection molded tubes in a wide range of sizes. This 10/10/10 Carbon-fiber, Graphite, PTFE composite is commonly used in higher PV dynamic applications.

BOETEK™ PEEK IM 5030 offers a lower coefficient of friction than virgin or carbon-filled PEEK. It is ideal for low-lubrication or dry environments due to its reduced heat build-up resulting from a lower coefficient of friction (COF). It also helps reduce or eliminate the need for external lubrication in many applications. For applications that require higher strength or stiffness, 30% carbon-filled PEEK is better suited.
