General Info
Torlon ® 4435 PAI is specifically designed to provide exceptionally low wear performance in non-lubricated applications even at high pressure and velocity (PV) conditions. With a proprietary blend of carbon fiber, graphite, mica and PTFE fillers, 4435 offers the best possible advantages of lower friction and increased wear resistance as compared with other more common Torlon Bearing Grades. Not only is Torlon 4435 particularly suited to applications where lubrication is impossible or undesirable, it provides an additional margin of safety for lubricated systems in the event that lubrication is lost. NOTE: This less-common bearing grade is NOT AVAILABLE FROM STOCK, but rather can be offered ONLY BY SPECIAL ORDER ... long leadtimes and large minimum order quantities may apply when ordering these grades in sheet or rod forms.
