Torlon 4275 is a wear-resistant grade of polyamide-imde (PAI) offering an excellent balance of mechanical properties and wear resistance for more demanding applications. It has comparable strength but a higher modulus than 4301 combined with better wear resistance at both high velocity and high pressure conditions. NOTE: This less-common bearing grade is NOT AVAILABLE FROM STOCK, but rather can be offered ONLY BY SPECIAL ORDER ... long leadtimes and large minimum order quantities may apply when ordering these grades in sheet or rod forms.

Limitations
- Torlon® PAI has a relatively high moisture absorption rate, parts used in high temperatureservice or made to tight tolerances should be kept dry prior to installation. Thermal shock resulting indeformation can occur if moisture laden parts are rapidly exposed to temperatures above 400°F (205° C).

If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
