General Info

DELRIN ® AF (PTFE-filled) is manufactured from Delrin ® homopolymer resin which has been uniformly filled with a dispersion of 20% PTFE fibers. Delrin ® AF is a unique thermoplastic material for use in moving parts in which low friction and long wear life are important.

Delrin ® AF is BROWN in color.

It is sometimes referred to as Full Strength DELRIN ® AF and can be produced from either Delrin 100 AF or 500 AF resin, due to the higher PTFE fiber content it offers lower frictional properties than AF blends.

DELRIN® 100 AF Blend is the most common and commercially available DELRIN® AF grade. DELRIN® 100 AF Blend offers an attractive blend of properties and lower cost compared to DELRIN® AF Full Strength and is the the most widely used of DELRIN ® AF grades.
