GEHR PVC Type II™ Plastic Rod is a rigid, amorphous thermoplastic made from impact-modified Polyvinylchloride (PVC), chemically known as (C2H3Cl). Designed for enhanced mechanical performance, this material retains the core benefits of GEHR PVC Type I™—such as chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and flame retardancy—while providing significantly improved impact strength.

One of the key advantages of GEHR PVC Type II™ is its wider operating temperature range, particularly at lower temperatures, making it more suitable for cold environments and applications subject to thermal cycling.

This impact-modified formulation resists cracking and is commonly used in structural and fluid-handling applications in the chemical processing, plating, and ventilation industries. It is also non-conductive, easily machined, weldable, and glueable, supporting a wide range of fabrication methods.

GEHR PVC Type II™ is produced to meet ASTM D6263/D1784, ensuring consistent quality and performance across all rod sizes.
