General Info

BOETEK™ Static Control 42-SD PES is a high-performance Polyether-Sulfone (PES) plastic engineered for use in electronics, semiconductor, and other high-tech industries. It offers a surface resistivity of 10^6 to 10^9, which falls within the static-dissipative range for critical electronic components, helping eliminate damage from static buildup.

It is designed to maintain consistent surface resistivity with minimal to no initial charge. BOETEK™ Static Control 42-SD PES effectively manages electrostatic charges across a broad temperature range of up to 338°F continuous, with a glass transition (Tg) of 420°F. This property ensures optimal performance in environments susceptible to static electricity.

BOETEK™ Static Control 42-SD PES is compression-molded and fully annealed, providing superior dimensional stability during and after the machining of complex components.

Available in sheet, rod, and tube for precision machining for critical components in electronics and semiconductor applications.
