General Info

Semitron® ESd 300 is a static dissipative PET-P based material for use where electrical discharge in operation is a problem. Semitron® ESd 300 PET-P offers a low CLTE (coefficient of linear thermal expansion) and very low water absorption, making it an excellent choice for applications up to 210F continuous that require dimensional stability in wet environments.

Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena (humidity) to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface.

Limitations

Low Resistance to Continuous Hot Water or Steam
Low Resistance to Strong Alkalies
Not recommended for continuous use in alkaline liquid or in hot water over (131 F / 55 C)
