General Info
Semitron® ESd 225 is a static dissipative acetal. This material has the same general properties as unfilled acetal, but with static dissipative properties throughout -- resistivity in the range of 10^9 to 10^10 ohm/sqauare. It may be used to temperatures of 225°F (107°C) without degradation. Semitron® ESd 225 offers broad chemical resistance and good wear resistance.

Key Properties
- Surface resistivity 10^9 – 10^10 Ohm/Square (Static Dissipative Range)
- Thermal performance to 225°F (107°C) Heat Deflection Temperature
- Good Wear Resistance
- Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena (humidity) to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface.
Limitations
- Low Stiffness
- Moisture Absorption
Applications
- Hard Disk Drive Fixtures
- High Speed Electronic Printing Components
- Jigs & Fixtures for Static Control in Many Industries
- Material Handling Components Requiring Static Control
- Wafer Processing Components

Manufacturer Trade Names
Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
