General Info
Nylatron® 66 SA FST (Fire, Smoke & Toxicity) is formulated for interior applications in aircraft materials must meet various requirements to be recognized. Nylatron® 66 SA FST is lightweight, wear resistant and has fire-safety characteristics that meet aviation regulations and standards like JAR/FAR 25.853.
Its unique features make it the first engineering plastic product of its kind available as semi-finished shapes (rods and sheets). The fire, smoke and toxicity (FST) retardant capabilities enable Nylatron® 66 SA FST to withstand extreme temperatures up to 175 ºC. The material is particularly suitable for any kind of application where metal parts (e. g. brackets, seal bushings, slide rails and duct seals) or high performance polymers have traditionally been specified.
Nylatron® 66 SA FST offers engineers a safe material solution for critical aerospace interior applications.

Resin Trade Names
Manufacturer Trade Names
Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
