General Info
Altron™ PC 1000 (Formerly Quadrant ® PC) machine grade polycarbonate is a transparent amorphous thermoplastic which offers very high impact strength and high modulus of elasticity. The material has a 290°F (145°C) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi, absorbs very little moisture and resists acidic solutions. These properties, in addition to good electrical characteristics, make Altron™ 1000 machine grade polycarbonate stock shapes an excellent choice for electrical/electronic applications. Altron™ 1000 machine grade polycarbonate is stress relieved making it ideal for close tolerance machined parts.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
