General Info
ULTEM™ PEI PolyEtherImide (PEI) combines high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures with long term heat resistance. ULTEM™ PEI offers excellent dimensional stability combined with broad chemical resistance. ULTEM™ PEI is also inherently flame resistant and low smoke generating. Glass reinforced ULTEM™ PEI provides even greater rigidity and dimensional stability while maintaining many of the useful characteristics of basic ULTEM™ PEI. The glass reinforcement yields a product with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and increased tensile strength. This 30% glass-reinforced grade is the most common filled ULTEM™ and is readily available from stock in sheet and rod forms.

Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
