General Info
Ertalyte® is an unreinforced, thermoplastic polyester based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET-P). It is characterized as having excellent dimensional stability coupled with excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions. Its low moisture absorption enables mechanical and electrical properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture. Ertalyte® is FDA compliant in natural and black.

- Good for both wet and dry environments

- Better acid resistance than nylon or acetal
Limitations
- Low Resistance to Continuous Hot Water or Steam
- Low Resistance to Strong Alkalies
- Not recommended for continuous use in alkaline liquid or in hot water over (131 F / 55 C)
