GENERAL PROPERTIES
Acetal is the common name for a family of thermoplastics with the chemical name "PolyOxy-Methylene". Acetal is a general-purpose plastic material suitable for a wide range of mechanical and engineering applications.
Sustarin ® C Acetal Copolymer exhibits high-strength characteristics and excellent thermal properties. This material has very low moisture absorption and thermal expansion, combined with good performance at moderate temperatures.
Sustarin ® H Acetal Homopolymer is a tough, very strong product exhibiting extremely low cold flow and thermal properties. Good dimensional stability make this material suitable for a wide range of applications.
Sustarin acetal materials are available from stock in NATURAL . and BLACK colors.
