GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Propylux® HS Heat Stabilized Polypropylene sheet provides all of the outstanding properties found in standard polypropylene, but has been subjected to a special heat-stabilizing process. As a result, Propylux® HS is able to withstand higher service temperatures with less water absorption than standard polypropylene. It is laser-markable and has superior dimensional stability.
The enhanced properties of Propylux® HS make this material an excellent candidate for replacement of PBT, Acetal, PTFE, PPO and a number of other high-performance plastics. Recommended sterilization techniques include steam autoclaving and cold sterilization.
Propylux® HS2 was developed to offer higher temperature capability and additional dimensional stability as compared to Propylux® HS.
Typical applications for Propylux® HS and HS2 include provisional trials, cranio-maxillofacial trays and sterilization tray components.
Propylux® HS and HS2 are made from FDA approved polypropylene resins and are available in medical grade, lot-controlled and serialized sheets only. Contact us for size availability.
Propylux® HS2 may be available in BLACK , GREY , WHITE , YELLOW , RED , DARK BLUE , DARK GREEN & BROWN .
Propylux® HS is available only in BLACK & WHITE colors.,
(NOTE: Listed colors MAY NOT be available from stock or in all sizes and thicknesses!)
