KYDEX 160a is specifically formulated to meet the fire retardant properties of AS 1530.3 and 1530.4.

KYDEX 160 is a thermoplastic sheet that is used for laminating and thermoforming applications requiring a Class I/A rating. Unlike many other thermoplastics, KYDEX 160 is less hygroscopic and frequently does not require pre-drying. KYDEX 160 meets Class I/A building code ratings up to .125" (3.175mm) and is UL listed up to .080" (2.03mm).
Features
KYDEX 160a is very resistant to a wide range of concentrate chemicals, and is therefore easy to clean with aggressive cleans such as Soft Scrub®, Fantastic®, and citrus-based cleaners such as Citri Kleen®. Ammoniated cleaners should be avoided since they can leave a residue.
Most important, KYDEX 160a meets the stringent requirements of AS 1530 Part 3 and Part 4 (Australian Methods for Fire Tests on Building Materials, Components, and Structures) for use as an interior finish.
Thermoformability:
KYDEX 160a can be used for both flat sheet applications such as wallcovering or laminating or for 3-dimensional parts. It can be vacuumed or pressure formed.
