| | 152 AR | | CAPPED ABRASION RESISTANT SHEET | General Information
Super tough, durable KYDEX 152AR sheet brings new dimensions to thermoformers and membrane pressers in: formability, rigidity, breakage resistance, and abrasion resistance. This high performance thermoplastic sheet is available in a wide range of standard and custom colors, textures, and sheet sizes. It offers 15 ft-lbs./in (795 J/m) Notched Izod impact resistance and improved abrasion resistance.
Features
Superior Formability: For deep or hard to form parts or where abrasion resistance is critical, KYDEX 152 AR is unsurpassed.
Breakage Resistance: With a Notched Izod impact resistance of 15 ft-lbs./in (795 J/m), KYDEX 152 AR offers outstanding resistance to breakage.
Thermoformability: Excellent forming properties results in uniform wall thicknesses and crisp detail, plus easy machining and fabricating using conventional methods, further expanding finished part possibilities.
Abrasion Resistance: KYDEX 152 AR offers an impressive Taber Abrasion weight loss of only 38.4 milligrams (per 1000 cycles)
Fire Retardancy:
KYDEX 152 AR is rated Class 1/A according to ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test (UL 723) in an independent laboratory test (in gauges <.040"(1mm). It also rates V-0 according to UL 94 independent laboratory testing.
RIPH: KYDEX is endorsed by the Royal Institute of Public Health for conformance to the standard of Hygienic Merit
